On January 12th 2007, I joined this very site to share drawings of what a 13 year old drew. For the 5 years I've been on here, i seen this site grow and change to the ever adapting internet.
As a 13 year old who i believe was in year 7, having something like this to share my art was amazing. Of course, i started drawing from other peoples drawings then stopped realizing i was stealing someone's own thought. As a 13 year old, i hadn't understood the whole internet thing and other fantastic sites i used to go on.
I had decided to call myself EternalDragons, a name i came up with because of my love for dragons and a new book series I had found: The Last Dragon Chronicles by Chris D'lacey ( There was 3 books out at the time and I met the author in a local bookshop that has had many names changes). I also had used it in a chat room called Shurtugal Chat were I role-played with another internet user on our storyline called DragonQuest.
Days passed, i gained new internet friends and passed on to my friends as did my other older friends. My imagination began to be inspired through drawings, through things I was doing throughout the day... In fact, some of these drawing I've kept some of the booklets because they have special drawings in them.
Then we gained a Wacom in our house hold. It was the best thing ever as I could transfer my drawings without having to scan them. I moved from pencil to colour drawings, my drawing lowly getting better and i was getting a response from people.
Years Passed. Internet friends moved on or onto other accounts. My friend's weren't interested anymore. People changed... and drawings hadn't.
To be honest, looking back on my 13 year old self is cringe worthy (Art wise) and that digging back up those pictures do bring back memories. But now 5 years on and doing four creative a-levels, it's hard to think that it's been 5 years. Sadly, this account has dwindled because I don't have the time I used to. There have been ups and downs, days in which I wanted to just quit like everyone else and do something else.
Just look at the last drawing I did.
Personally, I'm not impressed. I looked over what I've done and thought that my effort drawing wasn't there. So i decided to turn a new leaf, a new page... a new account.
Yes. I'm leaving this account. I'm keeping it up but leaving it for a new one. I felt if I'm going to post up work, it shouldn't be under a 13 year olds name. It's time to be serious.
But I'm not telling you were my new one is. Yes, another game like all the other ones. But this is the last one, okay?
If you want to see any new works that will have more effort put into it (for those who still are on here), go and try to find the account. I've already started it up a month ago. I even added some of you who i know are still alive because i still think your art is beautiful. No doubt about it.
So, go on.
Come and find me.
I challenge you.
Oh, Good luck and ciao!
